My cousin finally told us today to stop
searching for a bride for him for he has already committed himself to someone.
We had no problem with his choice. Since he was the only child of his parents,
everybody was super eager to see him married. On asking him to fix a meeting
with her family to finalize things fast, he revealed it would take some time before
her family will agree to get her married off.
“How much time? And what’s there to wait?”
everybody thought and her mom asked.
“Actually her elder sister who limps a
little is still unmarried. They’ll not marry the younger sister until the elder
one is married.”
“What if she never finds a suitable groom?
How long are you going to wait?”
“Forever.”
