#210 …when he lives a lie all his life just to keep you happy.

Though the girl had accepted his invitation to meet him on coffee, she found the meet quite boring and was about to leave when the boy asked the waiter to bring salt for his coffee.  The girl grew interested in his strange behavior and sat back to listen to the reason behind it. He cooked up one, infact he cooked it so well that they gelled well and soon were tying the knot.
After 40 years, he passed away. He had left her a letter which read: "My dearest, please forgive me for the lie. This was the only lie I said to you, the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but called for salt. It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead. I never thought that would start a conversation! Later I tried to tell you the truth many times in life, but was too afraid to do that. Now I'm dying and afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste..but I had that salty coffee for my whole life. Just for you. Having you with me was my biggest happiness for the whole life.”
