#211 …when u keep his meal hot even when he comes home late.

I was staying at my sister’s in-laws’ house for the holidays. My sister was pregnant and had retired to her room early last night.  Jeeju was out of town and his dad was bedridden. The only other member of the family – Hiren, my sis’s devar was working late. Though I wasn’t required to wait for him, I did. He was surprised to see me waiting for him when he returned home a little before midnight. All the more surprised to find me serve his meal piping hot. We kept chatting afterwards endlessly. He was courteous enough to thank me profusely for my gesture, but stupid enough not to understand it!
