#69 …when you try someone's surname after your name.

I had borrowed Sunidhi’s recipe book. Having no culinary skills but a gluttonous husband, I had to seek my friend’s help. She gave me some instructions, some tips and marked the easy recipes before leaving me alone with her recipe book. I wore my apron, arranged the utensils, collected the ingredients, and set off to try my hand at cooking. Flipping through the pages, my attention was suddenly caught by a signature with my friend’s name but somebody else’s surname. On the next page, the same thing was repeated many times as if she was trying to find out the best way to put her name and that surname together. I was confused and couldn’t concentrate on my cooking anymore. So I dialed her no. After a few lame excuses, she reluctantly revealed having recently proposed a guy. “I was just checking how my name will look post marriage if everything turns out the way I have dreamt,” she said.
