#86 …when there’s nothing you want more.


It was a big decision for her. She could simply go by her parent’s choice and marry the most eligible bachelor in town with easy access to fame, respect, wealth and society. Or she could listen to her heart and run away with the man of her dreams. Unlike the fairy tales, her dream boy wasn’t a handsome prince who would come on the white horse and take him to his palace. He was a middle class boy with average looks, little money, no home to take her to, and no family to tie her relation with. I was much tensed for her and after a lot of deliberations in my mind, I suggested her to be practical and think about her future security. I thought she would be more confused than I was and my advice would be of great help. But I was wrong. I understood when she said, “Never in my life have I wanted anything more than to be with him.” I was sure that although their story may not have had the beginning of a fairy tale, but definitely it was going to follow the end -
